Research Scope and Interests
Design, modeling, simulation and optimization,
fabrication, characterization,
and packaging of integrated photonic and optoelectronic components with emphasis on active and functional devices, including semiconductor
laser diodes, semiconductor optical amplifiers, super-luminescent light
emitting diodes, optical modulators and their monolithic integrations.
Nanophotonic devices and waveguides. Computer-aided design, modeling, and
simulation of fiber-optic communication systems and networks.
