Final exam histogram

A histogram of the marks in the final exam is available as a pdf file. Please do not contact me regarding individual marks. I will arrange office hours for the first week of January during which you may view your exam or discuss your final mark with me. Please check the office hours page. (20 Dec 2011)

Quizzes 1, 2 and 3

Quizzes 2 and 3 are now available in the lab. Also, if you did not pick up your Quiz 1 paper, it is also available there. (22 Nov 2011)

Online teaching evaluation

As mentioned earlier, the teaching evaluation for this course will be conducted on-line. I am pleased to announce that the online system is now available. It will be available until 4pm on Monday 28 November. The web site for the evaluation is: http://evals.mcmaster.ca. The login is your MacID and the corresponding password. A short description of the system is available as a pdf file. The process should take betwee 5 and 15 minutes to complete. I would be grateful if you would take the time to submit your evaluation of the course. (17 Nov 2011)

Deferred midterm test

At last, the details for the deferred midterm test have been finalized. I am sorry that this has taken so long. The arrangements for the test are as follows:

Teaching evaluation

The teaching evaluation for most courses in the Faculty of Engineering will be held next week, 7-11 November. However, 2CI5 has been selected for a trial of on-line teaching evaluations. As a result, the teaching evaluation will be held from 17-30 November. Some time will be reserved in the lab sessions for Lab 6 for you to be able to submit your teaching evaluations on-line. You will also be able to do this at other times. As soon as I am informed of the mechanism by which this will be done, I will let you know. (4 Nov 2011)

Provisional timing for the midterm test

It is proposed that the midterm test for this course will be held in the week starting Monday 31 October. It will likely be held from 7:00pm - 8:30pm. Once the room booking has been confirmed, I will announce the final arrangements on this page. (17 Aug 2011)
