I am currently looking to supervise a number of graduate students in the area of communication algorithm design, information theory and experimental prototype design for indoor visible light communications and free-space optical channels. Students with a keen interest in communications systems and practical modem design and skills in programming and mathematics are always welcome.

I have two open positions at the Ph.D.level in the areas of free-space optics and visible light communications. Both projects have aspects of theory as well as practical optical experiments.
