Instructional Facilities Engineer
E-mail:
I received my B.Eng. in Computer Engineering from McMaster in 1985. I started working at McMaster later that year as a Research Engineer on a joint project with Westinghouse on transformers. This led to a second project with Westinghouse on Induction motors. In 1991 I started my own computer consulting company. I returned to McMaster in 1993 to work on the current project on Bearing Currents in Large Induction Machines with General Electric, Peterborough.
I am currently involved with the departmental activities relating to the undergraduate and research laboratories.
My current interests include finite element modeling, development of graphical and text-based user interfaces, database management systems/front-ends and local area networking.
