I am an Assistant Professor of Computer Engineering in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at McMaster University.
Prior to McMaster University, I held various academic positions as a research fellow and lecturer at the University of Toronto, Imperial College London, and Simon Fraser University.. I held multiple design and research positions in the semiconductors industry between 2003 and 2008. I earned my Ph.D. in computer engineering from the University of British Columbia in 2016. My research interests span multiple areas, including application-specific custom-tailored computer architecture and hardware acceleration, hardware-efficient deep learning, neurotechnology, reconfigurable computing, and asynchronous circuits. NOEMA is a highly-efficient brain data decoder. See our MICRO 2021 paper for more details. [paper in PDF] [paper in HTML5] | |||||||||
