Nicola Nicolici is a Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at McMaster University. He received the Dipl. Ing. degree in Computer Engineering from the Politehnica University of Timisoara, Romania (1997) and a Ph.D. in Electronics and Computer Science from the University of Southampton, U.K. (2000).

Research Activities

The main focus of  our current research in the Computer-Aided Design and Test Research Group (CADT) is on electronic test automation, design for debug and design methods for hardware accelerators for scientific applications. IET/IEEE conference and journal papers can be downloaded from IEEEXplore.

We have also made publicly available the source Verilog files for MP3 audio and MPEG2 audio/video decoding.
