Ali Abbasi, MSc. Student

Ali has received his bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Sistan and Baluchestan, Iran, in August 2021. During his undergraduate studies, he worked as a teaching assistant for several hardware-related courses, and for his bachelor's final project, he developed a healthcare monitoring device for patients suffering from chronic lung diseases. He then joined McMaster University as a graduate student in January 2023 and is currently working as a research assistant at Fanos Lab. Ali's academic profile generally revolves around embedded systems and FPGA-based system design. At Fanos Lab, he is working on predictable memory systems and memory controllers. Additionally, he is working as a teaching assistant at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.
