Mohamed Ismail, PhD. Student

Mohamed is currently a Ph.D. student in the Fanos research lab, ECE department, McMaster University. He got his bachelor’s degree and Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Ain-Shams University, Cairo, Egypt in 2014 and 2019. His master’s degree research was in building models to infer the materials’ properties and constituents from its near-infrared spectrum. Before joining Fanos group in 2021, Mohamed worked for Si-ware Systems as an Embedded Software Engineer for five years, and his role was to design and develop firmware, middleware, and software for the spectral sensors produced by the company.
